Website
This small list is how you can do things right on your website to increase blog traffic.
- Reply to commenters (Say hey to me below. I truly love speaking with my readers)
- Link your new post to your old posts
- Check for broken URLs (How To Check For Broken URLs)
- Use Yoast SEO to optimize your blog posts (In simple terms, making sure you have keywords in your posts and you’re using them properly)
- Use social media share buttons on all posts
- Be consistent in writing posts
- Make sure to catch your reader’s attention and
- Find your blog voice. Be interesting for people to come back
- Make your blog or website visually appealing
- Write posts that will make someone want to come back and see what you wrote
- Repurpose your old content (posts)
- Use high-quality images (Canva is great)
- Create 2 new Pinterest pins each week to your website. Add a gallery at the bottom of your blog posts. It should have no more than 4 images in the gallery. Update them with new pins every so often. When someone goes to save your post. Especially on Pinterest, all your current images will pop up, as an option to be saved. And yes, all images can be saved at once. Which makes it super easy to add these pins to your Tailwind scheduler,using the toolbar extension.

If you have a website, social media will be the core of your business. This is the communication you will have to your audience and vice versa. But there are known and unknown ways of effectively using social media to get the fullest out of it.

- Make sure to follow the rules in the groups and
- Take advantage of Facebook groups that have daily threads to whereas you can exchange support. Example: pageviews for pageviews *Most groups only do this on targeted days. Tip: Once in the group go to their pictures or announcements and you will see a picture or announcement that is the same each week. That’s a thread that you can promote your business on.
- Make Pinterest your best friend (get a Pinterest business account for free). 98% of my traffic comes from Pinterest
- Post on 3 main social media channels 5x a week if not 7. (use Tailwind for this)
- Blog on trending topics
- Use hashtags (This will grab your blog post or image and put it in whatever category, you have tags under)
- Comment on big bloggers threads or even ok sized bloggers
- Give advice without being spammy (more that people will then ask your social info, because they want to keep you in their circle as to go to people for their niche. Then their next questions or concerns, you can send them to one of your blog posts or your freebie or sales funnel.Still don’t be spammy.
