What Causes Pimples?

As a Licensed Cosmetologist, you not only study the art of hair but the anatomy of skin, nails, and muscles. The advice that I am going to give you is from a certified Licensed Cosmetologist (myself):

Pimples start when your dead skin cells mix with excess sebum in your skin. Sebum is oil. When those to mix together your sebaceous glands become clogged. Your skin in that area then becomes inflamed and swells with bacteria. That is when a pimple is formed.

So in simple non-professional terms. When your skin is not properly cared for and your skin becomes clogged with oil. When your skin is clogged with oil pimples will form and it will contain bacteria.

These remedies are for all skin types and tones.
