What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is when you promote someone else’s product or service. In exchange for you doing so, you are giving compensation.

The compensation is usually a percentage like 10% per sale. Certain affiliate programs have percentages of 40% per sale. It depends on the merchant that you choose to apply for.

While others leave out the guesswork and give a flat payout like this program who pays out $20 per sale.

How To Get Started With Affiliate Marketing

1. Apply

Apply for affiliate programs, and here are 7 of the best ones that I have used and still use now.

2. Plan

You do not need a website to affiliate market. I will write that in another post on how to do that.

Whether you have a website or not all you need is to have a strategy on how you’re going to promote the affiliate programs that you have signed up for.

3. Promote

After you have a strategy plan, now you have to just promote it. There are so many ways you can do this but the main and most effective ways are through your email subscribers or your followers that you already have.
