Ingredients
For the Steak:
-
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
-
2 tbsp butter
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
1 tsp garlic powder
For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:
-
1 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Season the Steak: Pat steak dry with paper towels. Generously season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
-
Sear the Steak: Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove from pan and set aside.
-
Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
-
Combine: Add the steak back to the pan and toss in the creamy sauce until fully coated.
-
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately with mashed potatoes, rice, or veggies.
Notes
-
You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
-
Add a splash of white wine or chicken broth to deglaze the pan for extra flavor.
-
Great with roasted asparagus or garlic mashed potatoes on the side.
