Creamy Apple Horseradish Sauce

This horseradish applesauce cream is a sauce that is served alongside a smoked turkey. The sauce from a smoked turkey or too potent to turn into gravy. This creamy apple horseradish sauce is spicy with a hint of apple to tighten your taste buds. This can be served hot over top of the turkey.

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch of fresh chives
  • 16 ounces prepared cream-style horseradish
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Freshly ground pepper

Remember you do not need to peel the apple before grating it.

Grate the Apple flesh coarsely with a handheld grater. Snip 1 tbsp of fine fresh chives.

In a bowl, stir together these contents: horseradish sour cream, and mayonnaise. Add the grated apple and the snipped chives, and the sugar to the horseradish mixture. Stir it until it is all well combined. Season with pepper for taste.

Cover and refrigerate the sauce until it is ready to serve. This Creamy Apple Horseradish Sauce can be refrigerated up to 3 days.
