Summer is a time for families to be together and have fun. Being that kids are home more than just for breakfast and dinner. You will need some lunch ideas to keep them fulfilled and happy throughout the summer.

These are basically bite-size. Your kids will love this. It contains everything a burger will have, but half the size.

3. Turkey and Cheese Crescent

This is a warm and yummy lunch idea. It is small enough for their little hands. You can add whatever flavor of ham they like. I like to use Honey Ham or Black Forest Ham because it is a bit sweet. But still has the ham taste.

And you can use whatever cheese your child would like. You can also use a cheese stick as an alternate. However, I would cut it in half so it is not too cheesy.

4. Quesadilla Buffett

Think of Chiptole inspired. Let your kids pick out their toppings as it’s on the table. If you are in a rush, then you can just make some quick and tasty quesadillas for them. You can use ground turkey, beef, and steak as the base. Alternatively, it can also be a vegan quesadilla.

5. Salmon Cakes

This is an all-time classic. I remember my great-grandmother used to make these for us as children. You can alternatively use tuna. And the salmon can be from in a can. See how to make them here.

Grilled cheese and a side of some refreshing fruit is the perfect balance for a child’s lunch menu.

Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches are yummy. And if your child loves a sweet taste to their food. This is an easy go-to for the classic sandwich. You can add whatever sides, you would like.

8. Shredded Grilled Chicken

This is a great finger food that is hearty. It can also be a dinner meal as well, just pair it with “dinner side dishes”

This is so easy and tasty. If you are looking for a healthier way to cook try an air fryer. I use my air fryer to cook almost all of my easy lunch ideas. It cooks in half the time and it is healthier. This is my favorite air fryer.

It is exactly what it sounds like. It is everything that a pizza consists of, but it is wrapped in an egg roll shell. Get the recipe here.

11. Grilled Smothern Reuben

I have never tried this. But I have always seen this and have always wanted to try it. Cut it in half and it will be good for your kids as well. Want to take it up a notch? Add a sliced pickle to the plate. It will be a great compliment to this sandwich.

For easy stir fry you can add your choice of meat and a lot of veggies. Alternatively, you can add all veggies.
