Homeschooling is not easy for parents. You have to find the balance of working from home,tackling the laundry and dishes all while keeping up on your childrens’ school assignments.
I have a preschooler, first grader and third grader. I’m juggling reinterating letter sounds and basics to my five year old. With my first grader she thrives in writting and wants to complete all her assignments in one day if I let her. My oldest which is in third grade is the division, multiplication and science fair project mode. So, as you can see my homeschooling life during the panedimic is chaotic.

I am still trying to find the complete balance in it all. Their teachers have been amazing. They are not overbearing and very supportive to all families during this time. I have been letting them complete two assignments for each subject each day. In order, for me not to completely go in circles I make sure they do the same subjects each day.

- Monday, Tue, Wed,Thur- 2 assignments, 20 mins. max
- Friday- Catch up on any assignments if not its a break day

I first learned about Homeschool Pop about the second week of school closings. Youtube has everything right? Well, that;s what I resorted to when I wanted to add some of my own lessons to my kids day. It’s hard having to stick by your kids for each assignment, start to finish. Even though, I do find time to do this with each of my children. I find that putting on an educational yet fun and short Youtube video does wodnders. It gives my kiddos the daily dose of fun facts. It can be anything from learning about natural diasters to learning about social studies.
Anyway, I typed in fun elementary school learning videos. Homeschool Pop had a bunch of videos that had various categories. I highly recommend these videos. I do tend to zoom past the first minute because each video shares comments from other kids about their love for the videos.

2. Hip Homeschool Moms
This blog is more like a community of homeschooling parents. It was started and ran by two homeschooling pros. They have every resource you can think of to help you out on your homeschooling journey. They have tons of printables. I love printables. I’m an organization geek.
What? I think is so fun and different about Hip Homeschool Moms is they have a section for moms and dads looking to find work as a stay home parent.
3. Free Homeschool Deals
This site is amazing because it is based on helping parents to afford homeschooling their kids. When you find yourself homeschooling you have to take in consideration the cost of lunches, supplies,field trips, memberships and more. This site provides you with all free resources to help you and your family to live a homeschool life frugally.

Yes, that is the name of the blog. This blog is for all the printable geeks like myself. There are printables for really everything living the Montessori and homeschool life.
This blog specializes in elementary school learning. I love printing these out. Laminitaing these printables and using dry erasers to use them over and over.
5. Simple Homeschool
If you are looking for cool homeschool diy crafts and more, this site is for you. Once you go onto this site this is sure to give you a warm feeling. You get posts written to target all areas of homeschool written from a homeschooling parent.
6. The Pioneer Woman
This blog is also quite unique. This homeschooling mom does not just touch on the normal homeschooling cirriculum. She expands beyond the basic cirrcullicum and touches on other essential learning like cooking. Your kids will enjoy adding other life skills to their given school circulcilum.
