  • Even though these lunches are intended to be eaten cold. Do not leave them out at room temperature more than two hours. This can increase your risk of foodborne illness according to the FDA. If your food has already been in the fridge for a while and it is cold it is okay to let it stay out longer than two hours because, it has not went down to room temperature yet. Once that happens two hours start to tick and play it safe.
  • You can eat fully cooked meals up to four days without reheating it.
  • If you have something you want to eat that has been in the fridge more than four days if there is no sour smell, just put it in the microwave for a precaution agaisnt bacteria.
