Fast Family Dinners for Busy Weeknights

These easy family dinners use simple ingredients and minimal prep, making them perfect for hectic evenings when you need dinner on the table fast.

1. The Best Tacos (Super Simple)

This is always a hit with my family.

Tacos can easily be customized so that’s why it is a perfect dinner idea for picky eaters.

I use ground beef for the meat. I cook the meat until it’s brown then I throw in diced onions and green and red peppers.

Then for the sauce I use one can of spaghetti sauce and a hint of the taco sauce.

(I do not use the taco seasoning packs and the tacos come out great!)

For my toppings, I use shredded Fiesta cheese.

I finish it off with frizzled onions and ranch (you can alternatively use sour cream). (Don’t worry, I will update this post with my recipe soon.)

  4. I think one of the worst things about cooking is that ‘what can I cook for dinner?’ question. It’s nice to have an easy list like this to help jog the old brain. Thanks for sharing.

    1. They are food bags. You can find them in any grocery store aisle. I use the Reynold’s kind. The Steak cheesburgers. We call them steakems. It is a thin sliced of steak like a slice of ham but its steak. You can keep it as is or crush it up for more of a philly cheese steak feel. So basically it is what is used for a Philly cheese steak.
