11 Secrets To Skyrocket Your Page Views

In early 2018, after seeing inspiring story after inspiring rags to riches blog stories. I gained enough confidence and research to start my own blog. (If you haven’t started yours yet. Start here.)

At this point I just knew these successful bloggers kept saying how Pinterest changed their life(income). But I never really got the 360 answer to how to make this happen. I was only finding half the answer. The normal Tailwind, Email List kinda thing.

I’m ready to tell you the 360 all around answer to how I grew my Pinterest Views from 26k to 71k in less than 2 months.

As you can see in December my views was not bad at 24k. I remember seeing that number I was so excited. My followers was only about 20 then. Now my followers at 109. That’s not too much. But I have just been seeing my views,income and all my other stats gradually increase.

My Secrets To Success

I did not take any paid courses to achieve this success. The two tweaks I did were all free 30 day trials. I canceled one before the 30day trial needed because it wasn’t needed longer than that.

How will this make me money?

Pinterest is the home to millions of users. Once you start having people seeing your pins (images to match to your site). Once you have views on your site. It’s up to you to lock them in to being loyal subscribers and potential customers to any of your products.

 

1. Change to a Pinterest Business Account

This is the very first step you should take when you want to drive traffic from Pinterest to your site. If you already have a personal account it is easy just to convert over in the settings section.

2. Change Your Pinterest Name Format

Have you ever seen how those polished bloggers have a polished look to everything attached to their brand? Go look at your favorite blogger that is successful. I guarantee you that their name in Pinterest will go like this:

3. Change Your Bio

Write up 2 to 3 sentences to describe who you are and what you do. But here’s the catch. Grab the readers attention. Make them interested. And most importantly use SEO Keywords. This is important because the search engines (Google, Pinterest,Bing) will like you more. Think of SEO like this: When you go to type something into Google or Pinterest and you are given other options to predict what your sentence or question maybe. Those predictors are high ranked keywords.

(By the way I’m not a SEO pro or guru either. I hate the techy stuff.😑 However, I can tell you what I have gathered and what helped.)

4. Join Social Media Groups

You will never guess how many bloggers or inspiring bloggers belong to these groups. I mean over 30 thousand people belong to these groups. Can you imagine how much your page views will increase?You can post your blogs there and ask for people to follow you on Pinterest and you will follow them back. Like a follow for a follow. I will say read the rules for each group. Because some groups do not allow any self promotion, only questions and advice.

This was my final step that really made my followers go up on Pinterest. From being in these groups if I promoted my blog they would go straight to my blog. Even better.

I just started my own Facebook Group. You can freely post your products,blog or website on this group. I haven’t put alot of time in promoting this group so the followers is not alot. 5. Join Pinterest Group Boards

Group Boards is a Pinterest board where the original owner opens the board to let thousands of people collaborate and post things to this board as well. That means that you will automatically have thousands of eyes on whatever you share from the people already on that group board alone. Your traffic will not only increase but so will your followers. You will begin to network with other bloggers and that is a start.

Later, someone could feature your links on their blog.It’s a win-win.Tailwind also allows you to schedule your pins to this group anytime because it’s now your board too. Just make sure you read the rules to each board as they vary. It’s not easy finding these groups. It’s not like you can search group boards and they just pop up. (Trust me I did this).

I was excited to start my Kindle Book sign up. Pinterest is a great way to look and read articles/posts. But what about those blogging BOOKS full of tons of posts like those all in one book. I love Kindle because:

7. Tailwind Scheduler

Okay, before when I was just manually pinning my pins. I kept hearing and seeing Tailwind, Tailwind, Tailwind! Enough already! However, manually pinning my pins were not only time consuming but impratical. I signed up through another bloggers 30 day free trial link. From day one my views increased gradually since using this genius scheduler.

Tailwind can visually be intimidating at first. But you will find everything under the publisher. The steps to Tailwind is:

• Download the chrome extension on Google chrome
• Open Pinterest/your blog and you will see the Tailwind schedule, CLICK all pins you want scheduled
• Go to Tailwind click drafts you will see all the pins you saved
• Make sure all images have a description and url site attached. If not add them
• Now schedule them.

Yayy! Your good to go with pins up to weeks or months.

Meaning your Tailwind is scheduling your content at the best times when your viewers are active.

8. Organize Your Boards

Organize your boards to relevant content on your blog/site. If your a lifestyle blogger you will have different boards things for children,recipes,inspirational, work from home boards. Those kind of things. They match with your niche. If your blog is just focused on one thing example if you have a food blog.

9. Follow Links

Add Your site onto your business account. That way your fans can link back to your website. Additionally, add follow me links on your website. There are many plugins you can use to add a Pinterest follow me sign.

The best one out there is Social Warfare. I use it right along with all the top blog gurus.

10. Enable Rich Pins

This step can be done with just changing the settings to enable rich pins. Go the settings tab on your Pinterest account.This will make your pins(images) look more polished. This will gain you more credibility.

11. Pin Steps

Having pins that are attractive can be intimidating. Don’t fret I will give you a quick but detailed way to convert high traffic with some good looking pins.

• I use Canva for my pins. They also have an app that’s useful times 10 when I don’t want to be on my laptop.
• Long vertical pins is what you need to use. (564w × 1128l)
• Write a description for each pin (it can be the same description for a different image but linking to the same post.
• Make pins your brand colors. Meaning what is your color scheme on your blog/site?
• No more than 2 different fonts. Bold and script is popular.
• Add Your watermark or your site url to your image. People will become familiar with you site and pins.
• High quality images.
